Call for Submissions - Postgraduate Peer Reviewed
(30min session: 20 min present max; 10 min discussion including changeover of rooms) To qualify for a PostGraduate paper submission, you must be an enrolled student (either part-time or full-time) at the time of submission. You will be asked to cite your student ID number when you register for the conference for confirmation of your student status.
This submission type requires you complete a number of sections by using the Postgraduate Student Paper Submission button below. The required sections are: Title, Abstract, Introduction, The problem being addressed, Study design/Approach, Findings, Discussion and Conclusion. A Postgraduate Paper is a total of 2,000 words including a 250 word abstract. Please submitt this using the online system on this website.
Once your initial submission has been accepted, please submit the final version by Friday 2nd February 2018 using the online abstract procedure.
After the conference, (at which feedback can enhance and develop your thinking about your paper) please consider extending it (between 3000 to 6000 words) for inclusion in a peer-review process for the Journal of Open, Flexible and Distance Learning by 30 May 2018. This journal is available online and is open access.
NB: Every completed and submitted Postgraduate Student paper will be eligible for the PostGrad Prize. The winner will receive a certificate and a token prize worth $200. This is sponsored by the Wilf Malcolm Institute of Educational Research (WMIER), and presented at the 2018 conference. The award winning paper will be highlighted in the conference proceedings. This award is for a paper that indicates the potential for a high contribution to the field and/or any of the main conference sub themes
